Our Coaches

Michael Finnell  Coach Michael joins the team has the Men’s Assistant Coach. Michael began rowing in 7th grade at the Orlando Area Rowing Society. He won numerous medals during his rowing career in high school and was part of an OARS Varsity 8 that qualified and competed at the USRowing Youth National Championships. He went on to Emory College and rowed for their competitive men’s club rowing team. He recently graduated and is a welcome addition to the Men’s Team. Caitlyn Shaughnessy  Coach Caitlyn returns to the team for her second year as the Women’s Novice Coach. This past year she had the fastest freshman four in Orlando and several of her novices quickly graduated to the Women’s Varsity 8. Her novices took 5th in the girl’s novice 4 at the Head of the Hooch, the 2nd largest regatta in the United States.
