A scholastic rowing club open to 6th - 12th grade students in Orlando, Florida

North Orlando Rowing, formerly known as Power Ten Rowing, had another great season and raced for the first the Men's Varsity 8+, Women's Varsity 8+ and Men's Lightweight 8+ and the Florida State Championships. If you're interested in North Orlando Rowing it is never too late to join! All summer long North Orlando Rowing will be hosting Learn to Rows from 9 am till 12 pm at the Orlando Rowing Club boathouse, 2200 Lee Road Orlando, FL 32810 in Lake Fairview Park. The price is $25. North Orlando Rowing, formerly Power Ten Rowing Club, has it's best finish ever at USRowing Youth Nationals! Lindsay Larson and Jenny Frese raced well in the Woman's Pair B Final, posting their fastest time ever, beating one of the boats that beat them at Southeast Regionals and finished 10th in the Nation! Congratulations ladies, you both represented Power Ten Rowing Club and the Southeast Region very well! Southeast Regional Regatta Results! Power Ten Rowing Club competed at the South East Regional Regatta and returned home with the best results in the teams history! Saturdays racing was fast! All of the P10 Boats had good races and they all progressed to the Semi Finals or Reps!! After all the heats, reps, and semis were over P10 had the Woman's Novice 4, Men's Novice 4, Woman's JV 4, Men's JV 4 and 2 Woman's Pairs advancing to the Grand Finals; representing some of the fastest boats in the South East! Sunday's Grand Finals were awesome! The Woman's Novice 4 had an impressive race and took home Power Ten's FIRST EVER Woman's medal from the South East Regional Regatta. They brought back the Silver Medal! The Men's JV 4 had a great race as well, coming from behind and walking through 2 boats to take home the Bronze Medal - the third ever Men's Regional medal for the team. Power Ten had 2 Woman's Pairs represented in the Grand Final and had one of them finish with an impressive 3rd which not only got them the Bronze Medal but also the teams first ever Woman's [Sweep] Youth Nationals bid! This year was the most successful year for Power Ten and has built a great foundation for an even more successful 2010-2011 season! Go Spartans!!!! Interested in North Orlando Rowing?
